Bucket List?...No...Living List!

The idea of a bucket list became popular with the 2007 Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson movie. As you all know, the Three Broads are nothing if not similar to Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson...not. Nonetheless we thought it would be fun to think about what we would like to do before we "kick the bucket." However, that seems rather sad as we feel we are just getting the party (of life) started. So, we will call these our "living lists."

Hilary's Living List:

1. Travel to all 50 states (I think I'm only about 1/3 of the way there)

2. Travel to Italy. My Italian name is Alessandra Moreno if anyone asks.

3. Write a book with my other teacher friends about what it is really like to teach the youth of America.

4. Remodel our house (basement and kitchen).

5. Shoot in the 80s for a round of golf.

6. Attend the World Series when the Chicago Cubs are participants.

7. Learn to be crafty.

8. Vacation on an island.

9. Buy a vacation home (can you tell I like vacations?).

10. Watch my nieces and nephews graduate from high school, college (if they choose), and succeed in life.

Addie's Living List:

1. Take each of my nieces on a girls trip...no parents! (What would the fun in that be?!)

2. Travel to Italy. (I am going to try and swing that trip with the other two broads!)

3. Write a book. Not sure about topic...this teaching gig certainly gives me lots of material. (I know what you are thinking...it's not the kids...it's the adults.)

4. Live part of the year in Florida. (No, I am not nearly dead...I just like the heat.)

5. Take a cooking class in another country.

6. Travel. Travel. Travel. Lots of places on my list: Greece, Ireland, Fiji, Belize, Costa Rica, Galapagos Islands...the list gets bigger every year.

7. Take a trip with my brothers. Just us siblings.

8. Go on a safari in Africa.

9. Do scientific research for Earthwatch.

10. Go to culinary school.

Shannon's Living List:

1. Travel to Italy with the Three Broads... Epic Adventure

2. Purchase a Mini-Cooper convertible that I then drive wearing a MINI dazzling jacket with my darling Teine riding beside me in her matching MINI dazzling jacket and dog goggles!

3. Attend the RYDER CUP in Europe completely decked out in my USA gear!

4. See each of my children graduate from college, find a career that they love, and find a partner who helps them be the best they can be. (Adding more grandchildren to my brood would be an added bonus!)

5. Anonymously do something that would change another person's life.

6. Be debt free by the age of 50!

7. Take one trip each year to a place I have never been.

8. Deepen my faith...Trust the Lord's plan for me...Celebrate daily in some small way all I have been given.

9. Live near the water for at least part of the year.

10. Teach abroad for one year.
