So maybe you aren't a huge football fan. Maybe you are just in it for the food. Well, depending on the season (recent Purdue football) sometimes so are we. However, you can still have fun with what you are doing. This week we are going to offer you some fantastic tailgating themes (who doesn't love a theme?), and perhaps a game you might be interested in playing.

Terrific Tailgating Themes
School Colors - Example if your school includes red you could make chili or tomato soup, red velvet cupcakes (see the skinny version on our food page), or strawberries
Breakfast Brunch - throw together a bunch of easy breakfast foods for your next tailgate
Mardi Gras - think red beans and rice, muffalettas, or gumbo.
Food Bars - potato bar, chili bar, nacho bar, soup bar, fondue bar, etc.
Around the World - assign each person a country, they bring a food representative of that country
Those are just a few ideas to get you started. Now let's talk about a game to play during the game. While Shannon and Hilary can't get enough sports, Addie usually couldn't care less (unless her nephew is playing). So, Addie found a great way to play along during the game.
Bingo
Personally, the Bingo Games are better for a football party at home. That way you can incorporate adult beverages with it! This bingo game would also be great if you were having a party and invited kids along...this would give them something to do and still be watching the game with the adults.
I got this idea from Babble (courtesy of Disney) and they have a lot of other great ideas.
How did you celebrate FOOTBALL this weekend?
